AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to Allendale Insurance
Company, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Aetna Insurance
Company, Affiliated Factory Mutual Insurance Company, Northbrook
Insurance Company, and St. Paul Insurance Company (Wightman
Agency, Inc., agent) for the District's property and liability
insurance coverage from February 27, 1978 to February 27, 1981,
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Allendale Insurance Company,
Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Aetna Insurance Company,
Affiliated Factory Mutual Insurance Company, Northbrook Insurance
Company, and St. Paul Insurance Company, who submitted the lowest
bid to the District for the District's property and liability
insurance of those bids received and opened on February 17, 1978,
at 11:00 A.M., at the District's office by the District's
Insurance Consultant, at and for a gross premium of Two Hundred
Fifty Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars ($250,697.00) for
such policy period, are hereby awarded the contract for such
property and liability insurance coverage for February 27, 1978 to
February 27, 1981.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's property and liability insurance
coverage and thus being necessary for the protection of the public
welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the plan,
and this ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 22, 1978.
