AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of the
River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers in
Seneca-Goodale, Sections I & II (S-950), in the City of Overland,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) toward the costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of the
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute one-half (1/2) of the balance remaining after the
contribution from the State of Missouri toward the costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, the
Executive Director is authorized to issue the notice to proceed to
the contractor, and said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of the River des Peres.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of the River des Peres to be used for the construction
of storm sewers in Seneca-Goodale, Sections I & II (S-950), in the
City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 22, 1978.
