AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 454 (Seminary
Branch of River des Peres) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby established a sub-district of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or
improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict
shall be known as Subdistrict No. 454 (Seminary Branch of River
des Peres).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 454
(Seminary Branch of River des peres) shall be as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Loughborough
Avenue and the centerline of Des Peres Boulevard; thence
northwardly along the centerline of Des Peres Boulevard to its
intersection with the eastward prolongation of the north line of
Lot 17 of City Block 6346 of the City of St. Louis; thence
westward along said eastward prolongation of and the north line

approximately 1,400'+ to the southern most line of Mackenzie
Hills Plat No. 8 a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 54, Page 40
of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence easterly along
said southern most line to its intersection with the centerline
of Loughborough Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of
Loughborough Avenue to the point of beginning.
Section Three. This Ordinance is for the establishment of a
subdistrict wherein sewer or drainage facilities may be
constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of said
subdistrict, and the construction or improvement of said
facilities being necessary for the protection of public health
and welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the
Plan, therefore, this Ordinance shall be and become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
