HomeMy Public PortalAbout03486 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3486 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 455 (Black Creek) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. There is hereby established subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 455 (Black Creek). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 455 (Black Creek) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 BLACK CREEK Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 17 of Woodland Place, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 67 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being the intersection of the eastern line of Oakland Avenue with the southern line of said Woodland Place; thence northwardly along said eastern line of Oakland Avenue to the eastward prolongation of the northern line of Comfort Avenue; thence westwardly along said eastward prolongation and said northern line of Comfort Avenue to the southwest corner of property conveyed to Robert D. thence generally eastwardly along the southern boundary of said Subdistrict No. 366 to the southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Paul Londe by the deed recorded in Book 5978, Page 560 of the St. Louis County Records, said point also being on the eastern boundary of Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek 17 Stormwater subdistrict as established by Ordinance No. 2611 and adopted June 26, 1974 by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence generally southwardly along said eastern boundary of Subdistrict No. 367 to the intersection of the centerline of an east-west alley in Block C of Maple Lawn, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 94 of the St. Louis County Records with the centerline of Big Bend Boulevard; thence southwardly along said centerline of Big Bend Boulevard to the eastward prolongation of the northern line of property conveyed to Southwest Properties, Inc., by deed recorded in Book 6769, Page 254 of the St. Louis County Records; Section Three. This Ordinance is for the establishment of a subdistrict wherein sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of said subdistrict, and the construction or improvement of said facilities being necessary for the protection of public health and welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the 18 Plan, therefore, this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 12, 1978.
