AN ORDINANCE, making an appointment to the office of
Executive Director of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
and repealing Ordinance No. 540, adopted May 4, 1961, and any
other ordinance, resolution or other official acts inconsistent
with the provisions of this Ordinance, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Effective on the 5th day of May, 1978,
Robert S. Flick is hereby appointed to the office of Executive
Director to serve at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees.
Section Two. All provisions of Ordinance No. 540,
adopted May 4, 1961, and of any ordinance, resolution, rule or
other order of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District which is
inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section Three. The appointment hereby made is
essential to the operations of the District, and must take effect
without delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of
the Plan. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 4, 1978.
