AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 3309, adopted
August 10, 1977, by expanding the positions that comprise the
administrative unclassified service of the District and fixing the
compensation thereof, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Section Three of Ordinance No. 3309,
adopted August 10, 1977 is hereby repealed.
Section Two. Section Three of Ordinance No. 3309 as
hereby amended shall read as follows: Effective for the pay
period beginning May 8, 1978, the salary of the Executive Director
shall be at the rate of $42,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-
weekly installments.
Section Three. Section Twelve is hereby added to
Ordinance No. 3309 as hereby amended, and shall read as follows:
The salary of the Director of Legal Services shall be set by
Ordinance by the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District.
Section Four. The positions of the administrative
unclassified service of the District and the salaries therefor are
essential to the operations of the District, and the amendments as
herein specified must take effect without delay, thus creating an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 4, 1978.
