AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Two Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($102,600.00) from
the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund for the
cost of engineering contracts for the Step I Facility Plan for the
Coldwater Creek watershed.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2762, adopted February 26, 1975,
appropriated funds to be used toward the cost of said engineering
contracts; and
WHEREAS, grant program requirements have necessitated
an increase in the scope of work; and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of
the cost of said contracts, upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said moneys will be returned to the Coldwater Creek
Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of
Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said
contracts, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
moneys will be returned to the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Six
Hundred Dollars ($102,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension Improvement Fund as a supplemental
appropriation for the cost of engineering contracts for the Step I
Facility Plan for the Coldwater Creek watershed.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 24, 1978.
