AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars ($475,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm and
sanitary sewers in South Overland (Page to Theodosia) Phase II, in
the City of Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00)
toward the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars ($475,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres in the construction of
storm and sanitary sewers in South Overland (Page to Theodosia)
Phase II, in the City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 24, 1978.
