AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to Title III of the Comprehensive Employment and Training
Act of 1973 of the United States of America, Department of Labor,
for the receipt of federal funds in conjunction with the Summer
Youth Jobs Program as administered by St. Louis County, Missouri,
WHEREAS, Title III of the Comprehensive Employment
Training Act of 1973 will provide St. Louis County, Missouri, with
federal funds for the Summer Youth Jobs Program, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and St. Louis County, Missouri, for the undertaking of
said program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to contract with St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to Title III of the Comprehensive Employment
Training Act of 1973 of the United States of America, Department
of Labor, for the receipt of federal funds to be used in
conjunction with the Summer Youth Jobs Program as administered by
St. Louis County, Missouri, in the form as attached hereto.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 24, 1978.
