AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into an agreement to extend a contract with St.
Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to Title II of the Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the United States of
America, Department of Labor, for the receipt of federal funds in
conjunction with the Public Service Employment Program as adminis-
tered by St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3440, adopted January 25, 1978,
authorized the District to enter into a contract with St. Louis
County, Missouri for the undertaking of said Public Service
Employment Program, and
WHEREAS, said contract authorized participation by the
District and St. Louis County, Missouri in said program for the
period of January 9, 1978 through September 30, 1978, and
WHEREAS, the District and St. Louis County, Missouri
are desirous of extending the terms of said contract to the period
of October 1, 1978 through December 31, 1978,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement to extend a
contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to Title II of
the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the
United States of America, Department of Labor, for the receipt of
federal funds in conjunction with the Public Service Employment
Program as administered by St. Louis County, Missouri, in the form
as attached hereto.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 13, 1978. -2-
