AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-eight Thousand
Dollars ($28,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers in
Monroe & Vinita (S-1237), in the Village of Vinita Terrace,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project, upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Vinita Terrace, Missouri,
pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has
agreed to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project,
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will
be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-eight Thousand Dollars
($28,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres for the construction of storm
sewers in Monroe & Vinita (S-1237), in the Village of Vinita
Terrace, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 8, 1978.
