AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ninety-one
Thousand Dollars ($291,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the
construction of a storm channel in Godfrey & Barat (S-1130), in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project, upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project, upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety-one
Thousand Dollars ($291,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek to be used for the construction of a storm channel in
Godfrey & Barat (S-1130), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 22, 1978.
