HomeMy Public PortalAbout03655 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3655 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase from Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner thereof, all of the sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities, including all treatment plants, pump stations, mains, trunks, sub-trunks, laterals, manholes, and appurtenances, together with all real property and easements owned by Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc. within the Village of Twin Oaks in St. Louis County, Missouri, and prescribing the terms of said purchase. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and the Secretary- Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized to purchase from Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner thereof, at a price not to exceed Fifty-three Thousand Dollars ($53,000.00), all of the sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities, including all treatment plants, pump stations, mains, trunks, sub-trunks, laterals, man- holes, and appurtenances, together with all real property and easements owned by Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc. within the Village of Twin Oaks in St. Louis County, Missouri, the aforementioned real property, upon which lies a pump station, being more fully described as follows: Lot 26 of QUlNETTE SUBDIVISION AMENDED PLAT, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 132 of St. Louis City (formerly County) records. Lying North of New Hanna Road. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that part conveyed to Cinco Enterprises, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, by deed recorded in Book 6789, Page 1313 of St. Louis County records. Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District by Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, of proper documents in proper form, being free from liens and encumbrances, conveying title to all of the sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities, including all treatment plants, pump stations, mains, trunks, sub-trunks, laterals, manholes, and appurtenances. together with all real property and easements owned by Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc. within the Village of Twin Oaks in St. Louis County, Missouri, to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer shall be and are hereby authorized and directed to pay to Blue Ribbon Real Estate, Inc. the total sum of Fifty-three Thousand Dollars ($53,000.00). The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 29, 1978.
