Board of Assessors Meeting
March 9, 2011
Members Present: Howard Hayes,Jim Jursak and Diane Salomone
Also attending was David Tately, Deputy Assessor
Mr. Jursak called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
Old Business:
Mr.Jursak moved to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2011 meeting. Ms. Salomone
seconded, and the motion passed 2-0. Mr. Hayes abstained because he was not present at
that meeting.
Mr.Jursak moved to transfer the following amounts to Overlay Surplus from the following
years: FY 07--$72,500; FY08--$75,000; FY 09--$50,000. Ms. Salomone seconded, and the
motion passed 3-0.
New Business:
Mr. Jursak moved to convene Executive Session to discuss and vote on Real Estate
Abatement Applications. Ms. Salomone seconded. Roll call vote was taken to enter
Executive Session at 6:12. Hayes-yes, Jursak-yes, Salomone-yes.
The Board exited Executive Session at 6:45.
Ms. Salomone moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Mr.Jursak seconded, and it passed
3-0.

Board of Assessors Meeting
March 9, 2011
Executive Session
Howard Hayes called the Executive Session of the Board of Assessors to order at 6:12 p.m.
in the Assessors Office.
Present: Assessors Hayes, Jursak and Salomone, and Deputy Assessor David Tately
The Executive Session was called to review Real Estate Abatement Applications.
After discussion, the Board voted unanimously to approve the Real Estate Abatement
Application of Randall Watson, of 133 Hornbeam Hill Road, to $610,400.
Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn Executive Session. Ms. Salomone seconded. Roll call vote
was unanimous to adjourn. Hayes-yes, Jursak-yes, Salomone-yes
The Executive Session was adjourned at 6:45.
