AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty-four
Thousand Dollars ($154,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for the
construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Arlington-Lenox,
Phase 2 (S-1091), in the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project, upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project, upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty-four
Thousand Dollars ($154,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers
in Arlington-Lenox, Phase 2 )S-1091), in the City of Shrewsbury,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 1978.
