AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Thousand One Hundred
Twelve and 75/100 Dollars ($8,112.75) from the General Fund of the
District for the semi-annual lease payment for certain property on
Dougherty Ferry Road upon which sewage treatment facilities are
located, for the period from January 1, 1979 to June 30. 1979.
WHEREAS, the Agreement of Purchase and Sale by and
between The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and Fee Fee
Trunk Sewer, Inc. specified that the District would assume the
terms of said lease, and
WHEREAS, the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict has
inadequate cash on hand, and the advancement of such sum is
necessary for said lease payment, which sum shall be repaid to the
General Fund of the District when such money becomes available,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Thousand One Hundred
Twelve and 75/100 Dollars ($8,112.75) is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund of the District for the semi-annual lease payment
for certain property on Dougherty Ferry Road upon which sewage
treatment facilities are located, for the period from January 1,
1979 to June 30, 1979.
Section Two. Upon receipt of adequate funds by the Fee
Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict, such sum shall be repaid to the
General Fund of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 1978.
