AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title, or interest of
the District in a sewer easement and the unused sewer therein in
City Block 998 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, a sewer easement was reserved over land
situated in City Block 998 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this
District vacate any right, title, or interest that it may have in
subject sewer easement, and this District has no use for this
easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates any right, title, or interest that it may have in
the following described sewer easement and the unused sewer
therein:
That easement in the existing fifteen (15) foot wide
North/South alley (known as Call Street), in Block 998, of the
City of St. Louis, Missouri; being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the eastern
line of said fifteen (15) foot wide North/South alley (known as
Call Street), with the southern line of the twenty (20) foot wide
East/West alley (known as Mill Street), in said Block; thence
southwardly 183.37 feet along the eastern line of said fifteen
(15) foot wide alley, and the western line of Lots 39 through 46,
inclusive, in Block 33 of STODDARD'S ADDITION, to the northeastern
line of the fifteen (15) foot wide Northwest/Southeast alley, in
said Block: thence northwestwardly 19.49 feet along the
northeastern line of said fifteen (15) foot wide
Northwest/Southeast alley to the western line of said fifteen (15)
foot wide North/South alley; thence northwardly 170.81 feet along
the western line of said fifteen (15) foot wide North/South alley
to the southern line of said twenty (20) foot wide East/West
alley; thence eastwardly 15.00 feet along the southern line of
said twenty (20) foot wide East/West alley, to the eastern line of
said fifteen (15) foot wide North/South alley, and the point of
beginning, according to a survey by Pitzman's Co. of Surveyors &
Engineers.
