AN ORDINANCE extending the District's contract with
American United Life Insurance Company for the District's employee
group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment
coverage from September 1, 1978 to September 1, 1979.
WHEREAS, American United Life Insurance Company, the
present carrier of the employee group life insurance and
accidental death and dismemberment coverage from June 1, 1978 to
June 1, 1979, has requested that its policy year be extended until
September, 1979, at the existing rates, so as to coincide with the
policy year of the District's contract with Blue Cross Hospital
Service, Inc. of Missouri and Missouri Medical Service, which it
is designed to accompany.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The District's present contract with the
American United Life Insurance Company, the current insurance
carrier for the District's employee life group insurance and
accidental death and dismemberment coverage, is hereby extended
until September 1, 1979.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 1979.
