Board of Assessors Meeting
December 7, 2011
Members Present: Jim Jursak and Howard Hayes
Also attending was David Tately, Deputy Assessor
Mr. Hayes called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.
Old Business:
The Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of the meeting of November 30, 2011.
The Board voted unanimously to deny the Chapter 61A application filed by Betsy G. Clark
for the property at 0 Main Street Rear, Map 22, Parcel 7-3. The application was denied on
the grounds that five acres must be cultivated, while only two acres are used to grow
blueberries.
New Business:
Mr.Jursak moved to convene Executive Session to discuss and vote on FY 2012 Real Estate
Abatement Applications. Mr. Hayes seconded. Roll call vote was taken to enter Executive
Session at 6:25. Jursak-yes, Hayes-yes.
The Board exited Executive Session at 7:52.
Mr. Jursak moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. Mr. Hayes seconded, and it passed 2-
0.

Board of Assessors Meeting
December 7, 2011
Executive Session
Howard Hayes called the Executive Session of the Board of Assessors to order at 6:25 p.m.
in the Assessors Office.
Present: Assessors Hayes and Jursak, and Deputy Assessor David Tately
The Executive Session was called to review and discuss Real Estate Abatement Applications.
After discussion on each application, the Board voted unanimously to approve each of the
Real Estate Abatement Applications, in the amounts indicated, as shown on the list attached
hereto as Addendum 1.
After discussion, the Board voted unanimously to deny the Real Estate Abatement
Applications as shown on the list attached hereto as Addendum 2.
Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn Executive Session. Mr. Jursak seconded. Roll call vote was
unanimous to adjourn. Hayes-yes, Jursak-yes.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 6:50.
