AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer to grant to the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, an easement across certain real property of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in City Block 4696 of the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, for the construction of the new
Gravois Avenue bridge to span the River des Peres.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
does hereby grant to the City of St. Louis Missouri, an easement
across certain real property owned by the District in City Block
4696 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for the construction of
the new Gravois Avenue bridge to span the River des Peres, such
easement being described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing Southeast right of way line of Gravois Avenue (80 feet wide), said point being 19.21 feet Northeast of the existing Northeast right of way line of River des Peres Boulevard (116 feet wide) as measured along the said existing Southeast right of way line of Gravois Avenue; thence extending Northeasterly a distance of 210.17 feet to a point, as measured along the said existing Southeast right of way line of Gravois Avenue; thence extending Northeasterly after turning an angle of 4 degrees 25 minutes 17 seconds to the right, a distance of 80.89 feet to a point in the existing Northeast right of way line of River des Peres Channel, as measured along the said existing Southeast right of way line of Gravois Avenue; thence extending Southwesterly after turning an angle of 176 degrees 48 minutes 25 seconds to the right a distance of 290.88 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 655 square feet, more or less.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf
of the District an instrument giving effect to Section One hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 14, 1979.
