AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Two Million Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($2,210,000.00) from
the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund of the
District, of which Two Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Dollars
($221,000.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent
(10%) share, One Million Six Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($1,657,500.00) will be received from the
Environmental Protection Agency, and Three Hundred Thirty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($331,500.00) will be received from
the Clean Water Commission for additional costs of a Step I
engineering study for performance of a sewer system evaluation
survey for the Coldwater Creek Watershed.
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of
the cost of said study, and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of
Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said study,
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2762, adopted February 26, 1975,
and Ordinance No. 3506, adopted May 24, 1978, provided for the
initial funding of said study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:

Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-one
Thousand Dollars ($221,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund of the
District to pay ten percent (10%) of the additional costs of a
Step I engineering study for performance of a sewer system
evaluation survey for the Coldwater Creek Watershed.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
One Million Six Hundred Fifty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($1,657,500.00) which, when received, will be deposited in the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund of the
District, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
additional costs of a Step I engineering study for performance of
a sewer system evaluation survey for the Coldwater Creek Watershed
and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said
payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for
said study.
Section Three. The grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri will amount to Three Hundred
Thirty-one Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($331,500.00) which, when
received, will be deposited in the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension
Improvement Fund of the District, and is to pay fifteen percent
(15%) of the additional costs of a Step I engineering study for
performance of a sewer system evaluation survey for the Coldwater

Creek Watershed, and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used
to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said study.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
