AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Black & Veatch Consulting
Engineers for engineering services for the review of Corps of
Engineers plans for Maline Creek stormwater channel improvements
and to coordinate activities between the District and the Corps of
Engineers.
WHEREAS, the District requires specialized consulting
assistance for said engineering services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Black & Veatch
Consulting Engineers for engineering services for the review of
Corps of Engineers plans for Maline Creek stormwater channel
improvements, and to coordinate activities between the District
and the Corps of Engineers.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall provide for a total fee not to exceed Sixteen
Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00) and such other terms and conditions
as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1979.
