AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 3537, adopted
June 28, 1978, and enacting a new Ordinance in lieu thereof,
appropriating One Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Dollars
($134,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres
for the construction of storm sewers in Huntington No. 2238 (S-
1146), in the City of Overland, Missouri,
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 3537, adopted June 28,
1978, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-four
Thousand Dollars ($134,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres for the construction of
storm sewers in Huntington No. 2238 (S-1146), in the City of
Overland, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 25, 1979.
