AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Tarlton
Corporation for the construction of storm sewers in Subdistrict
No. 325 (Paddock Creek - Section 1, Phase 1) S-1206, in the City
of Florissant, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Tarlton Corporation as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of storm sewers in
Subdistrict No. 325 (Paddock Creek - Section 1, Phase 1), S-1206,
in the City of Florissant, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
8th day of May, 1979, by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:
Section Two. The contract for the construction of
storm sewers is necessary for the protection of public health, and
requires confirmation without delay, thus creating an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 25, 1979.
