Home My Public Portal About03831 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3831 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 2970, adopted December 10, 1975, as amended by Ordinance No. 3037, adopted April 14, 1976, Ordinance No. 3095, adopted July 14, 1976, Ordinance No. 3184, adopted January 26, 1977, Ordinance No. 3211, adopted March 30, 1977, Ordinance No. 3236, adopted May 11, 1977, Ordinance No. 3343, adopted October 12, 1977, Ordinance No. 3360, adopted November 9, 1977, Ordinance No. 3475, adopted March 22, 1978, Ordinance No. 3491, adopted April 12, 1978 and Ordinance No. 3776, adopted May 9, 1979, and enacting a new Ordinance in lieu thereof, prescribing a classification plan for all employees in the classified service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 2970, adopted December 10, 1975, as amended by Ordinance No. 3037, adopted April 14, 1976, Ordinance No. 3095, adopted July 14, 1976, Ordinance No. 3184, adopted January 26, 1977, Ordinance No. 3211, adopted March 30, 1977, Ordinance No. 3236, adopted May 11, 1977, Ordinance No. 3343, adopted October 12, 1977, Ordinance No. 3360, adopted November 9, 1977, Ordinance No. 3475, adopted March 22, 1978, Ordinance No. 3491, adopted April 12, 1978 and Ordinance No. 3776, adopted May 9, 1979, is hereby repealed. Section Two. Subject to the Civil Service Rules for administration, all positions in the classified service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be classified, coded and graded as follows: THE METROPOLITAN ST. The classification plan as hereby prescribed is essential for the operation of the District, and requires enactment without delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 1979.
