AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into an agreement to extend a contract with St.
Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to Title VI of the Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the United States of
America, Department of Labor, for the receipt of federal funds in
conjunction with the Public Service Employment Program as adminis-
tered by St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3440, adopted January 24, 1978,
authorized the District to enter into a contract with St. Louis
County, Missouri, for the undertaking of said Public Service
Employment Program, and
WHEREAS, the District and St. Louis County, Missouri,
are desirous of further extending the terms of said contract
through September 30, 1980,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement to extend a
contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to Title VI of
the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the
United States of America, Department of Labor, for the receipt of
federal funds in conjunction with the Public Service Employment
Program as administered by St. Louis County, Missouri, said
agreement to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 24, 1979.
