AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to lease to Union Electric certain real
property of the District in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for
the operation and maintenance of four steel towers used as
supports for a transmission line, and to execute a Lease Agreement
upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out.
WHEREAS, the prior lease between the District and Union
Electric for said property has expired, and
WHEREAS, the use of said property as herein specified
does not interfere with any District operation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized and directed to lease to Union Electric the
four parcels of land, each approximately forty feet square, of the
District in City Block 2450 of the City of St. Louis, Missouri,
for the operation and maintenance of four steel towers used as
supports for a transmission line.
Section Two. The lease shall be for a term of ten (10)
years terminating April 10, 1989, at the annual rental of One
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00).
Section Three. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease
Agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two of this Ordinance,
and embodying such other terms and conditions as are approved by
the Director of Legal Services of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 24, 1979.
