AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred
Eighty-eight Thousand Dollars ($1,388,000.00) from the Mississippi
River Construction Fund of which One Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand
Eight Hundred Dollars ($138,800.00) is to be used to pay the
District's ten percent (10%) share; One Million Forty-one Thousand
Dollars ($1,041,000.00) will be received from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government, and Two Hundred
Eight Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($208,200.00) will be received
from the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Missouri
for the checking of shop drawings and inspection fee of Lemay
Wastewater Treatment Plant - Maintenance Building and
Modifications and Additions to the Existing Incinerator and Filter
Building, Contract PA-64 (Engineering Contracts E-231 and E-229,
Federal Project C290640 03).
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
cost of said construction, and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Department of Natural Resources of the State
of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said con-
struction,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-eight

Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($138,800.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Mississippi River Construction Fund to pay
ten percent (10%) of the checking of shop drawings and inspection
fee of Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Maintenance Building and
Modifications and Additions to the Existing Incinerator and Filter
Building, Contract PA-64, (Engineering contracts E-231 and E-229,
Federal Project C290640 03).
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
One Million Forty-one Thousand Dollars ($1,041,000.00) which, when
received, will be deposited in the Mississippi River Construction
Fund, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of the
checking of shop drawings and inspection fee of Lemay Wastewater
Treatment Plant-Maintenance Building and Modifications and
Additions to the Existing Incinerator and Filter Building,
Contract PA 64 (Engineering contracts E-231 and E-229, Federal
Project C290640 03), and said amount is hereby appropriated to be
used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of
the contracts for said construction.
Section Three. The grant from the Department of
Natural Resources of the State of Missouri will amount to Two
Hundred Eight Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($208,200.00) which,
when received, will be deposited in the Mississippi River
Construction Fund, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost
of the checking of shop drawings and inspection fee of Lemay

Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance Building and Modifications
and Additions to the Existing Incinerator and Filter Building,
Contract PA-64, (Engineering contracts E-231 and E-229, Federal
Project C290640 03), and said amount is hereby appropriated to be
used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of
the contracts for said construction.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
