AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($220,000.00) from the General Fund of the District of
which Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($22,000.00) is to be used to
pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; One Hundred Sixty-five
Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) will be received from the
Environmental Protection Agency of the United States government,
and Thirty-three Thousand Dollars ($33,000.00) will be received
from the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Missouri
for engineering services related to Step 3, Stage 1 sanitary sewer
construction in the Caulk's Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract
E-299, (Federal Project No. C291148-03),
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
cost of said services, and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Department of Natural Resources of the State
of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said
services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-two Thousand Dollars
($22,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to pay ten percent (10%) for engineering services related
to Step 3, Stage 1 sanitary sewer construction in the Caulk's
Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299, (Federal Project No.
C291148-03).
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) which, when
received, will be deposited in the General Fund of the District,
and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) for engineering services
related to Step 3, Stage 1 sanitary sewer construction in the
Caulk's Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299, (Federal
Project No. C291148-03) , and said amount is hereby appropriated
to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the
terms of the said contract.
Section Three. The grant from the Department of Natural
Resources of the State of Missouri will amount to Thirty-three
Thousand Dollars ($33,000.00) which, when received, will be
deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay
fifteen percent (15%) for engineering services related to Step 3,
Stage 1 sanitary sewer construction in the Caulk's Creek
Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299, (Federal Project No.
C291148-03), and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
said contract.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 23, 1980.
