AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-307 with Black & Veatch
Consulting Engineers, for engineering services for the Development
of a Pretreatment Program to bring the District into compliance
with Federal and State Pretreatment Regulations. (Federal Project
No. C-290640).
WHEREAS, the District requires specialized consulting
assistance for the engineering of said program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT;
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-307 with Black &
Veatch Consulting Engineers, for engineering services for the
Development of a Pretreatment Program to bring the District into
compliance with Federal and State Pretreatment Regulations.
(Federal Project No. C-290640).
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One
of this Ordinance shall provide for a fee not to exceed Two
Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-seven Dollars
($281,787.00), and such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 28, 1980.
