AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($250,000.00) from the General Fund of the District as an
advancement for the purchase from South County Sewer Company,
Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner thereof, all of the
sanitary sewer system and treatment facilities, including all
treatment plants, pump stations, mains, trunks, sub-trunks,
laterals, manholes, and appurtenances, together with all real
property and easements owned by South County Sewer Company, Inc.,
within St. Louis County, Missouri, and directing the repayment of
such advance to the General Fund of the District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($250,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the District as an advancement for the purchase from South
County Sewer Company, Inc., a Missouri Corporation, the owner
thereof, all of the sanitary sewer system and treatment
facilities, including all treatment plants, pump stations, mains,
trunks, sub-trunks, laterals, manhole, and appurtenances, together
with all real property and easements owned by South County Sewer
Company, Inc., within St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. Upon receipt of adequate funds from
connection fees and surplus from sewer service charges in the
Telegraph-Becker-Christopher Service Area, the sum as hereby
appropriated will be repaid to the General Fund of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 28, 1980.
