HomeMy Public PortalAbout04074 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4074 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Five Hundred Forty-two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($1,542,300.00) from the General Fund of the District, of which One Hundred Fifty-four Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Dollars ($154,230.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of One Million One Hundred Fifty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($1,156,725.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Two Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Three Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($231,345.00) has been reserved by the Clean Water Commission for Contracts C-684, C-685, C-686, C-687, and C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptors Lines A-1, A-2, A-3, E and C) and Contract P-1 (1.0 MGD Treatment Plant), Federal Project C291148. WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been reserved by the Clean Water Commission of the State of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty-four Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Dollars ($154,230.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost for Contracts C-684, C-685, C-686, C-687, and C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptors Lines A-1, A-2, A-3, E and C) and Contract P-1 (1.0 MGD Treatment Plant). Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to One Million One Hundred Fifty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($1,156,725.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay seventy-five per-cent (75%) of the cost for Contracts C-684, C-685, C-686, C-687, and C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptors Lines A-1, A-2, A-3, E and C) and Contract P-1 (1.0 MGD Treatment Plant); said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. The reserved grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of Missouri amounts to Two Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Three Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($231,345.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contracts C-684, C-685, C-686, C-687, and C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptors Lines A-1, A-2, A-3, E and C) and Contract P-1 (1.0 MGD Treatment Plant); said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1980.
