AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-five Thousand
Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in Page & Lamb (S-1363, C-697), in
the City of Vinita Park, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) toward the total costs
of said project, upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vinita Park, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said sources said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance, and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($75,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of
storm sewers together with repayment of the cost of Engineering,
Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in
connection with such construction project, in Page & Lamb (S-1363,
C-697), in the City of Vinita Park, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1980.
