AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred Weber,
Inc., whereby Fred Weber, Inc. will furnish supervisors for
District employees hired pursuant to Title VI of the Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the United States of
America (CETA), the Public Service Employment Program as
administered by the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment,
and District Ordinance No. 4100, adopted July 9, 1980.
WHEREAS, the District does not have sufficient
supervisory personnel to properly supervise the aforesaid CETA
employees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Fred Weber, Inc., whereby Fred Weber, Inc. will
furnish supervisors for District employees hired pursuant to Title
VI of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 of the
United States of America (CETA), the Public Service Employment
Program as administered by the St. Louis Agency on Training and
Employment, and District Ordinance No. 4100, as adopted July 9,
1980.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of
this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance shall take effect upon
receipt of a duly executed contract from the City of St. Louis
for such program.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 30, 1980.
