AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Thousand One Hundred
Fifty-nine Dollars ($5,159.00) from the General Fund of the
District to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers in the
project known as Subdistrict No. 516 (Kitchell & McKibbon).
WHEREAS, one of the real property owners in such area
has paid to the District Two Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-nine
and 50/100 Dollars ($2,579.50) for one-half (1/2) the total costs
of said project and has contracted with the Benco-Bommarito
Construction Company to install a certain sewer system within and
for such area, and
WHEREAS, the District hereby advances the other
one-half (1/2) share, to be repaid upon the connection of the
remaining property being served by such sewers; and
WHEREAS, upon satisfactory completion of such project,
the District is to pay over to such contractor, from such funds,
the installation cost for said sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Thousand One Hundred
Fifty- nine Dollars ($5,159.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to be used for the construction of
sanitary sewers in the project known as Subdistrict No. 516
(Kitchell & McKibbon).
Section Two. The District is hereby authorized to pay
the one-half (1/2) of the construction cost not paid into it as an
advance against the future connection to the subject sewers, such
cost to be recouped by a connection charge to be paid upon
connection thereto by property now or formerly of Charles F. King
in the western portion of Lot 5 of Reas Brow Subdivision, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 13, 1980.
