HomeMy Public PortalAbout04130 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4130 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as Lessor, to enter into an agreement with Olin Corporation, as Lessee, whereby the District will release Olin Corporation from the obligations incurred pursuant to the Lease Agreement of July 10, 1975 for real property known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, said Olin Corporation has ceased its phosphate fertilizer operations, including the terminal service heretofore maintained at #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and WHEREAS, the District has secured another Lessee for said real property under terms and conditions which are more favorable to the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as Lessor, to enter into an agreement with Olin Corporation, as Lessee, whereby the District will release Olin Corporation from the obligations incurred pursuant to the Lease Agreement of July 10, 1975 for the real property known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute an instrument giving effect to Section One of this Ordinance, and embodying such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1980.
