AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to execute three amendments to Contract
E-231 with Consoer, Townsend & Associates, Consulting Engineers,
for engineering services relating to Step 3, Construction of
Secondary Treatment Facilities to the Lemay Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, changes in Federal laws and resultant
Environmental Protection Agency rules, regulations and guidelines
have necessitated the amendments to said engineering services
contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute three amendments
to Contract No. E-231 with Consoer, To-send & Associates,
Consulting Engineers, for engineering services relating to Step 3,
Construction of Secondary Treatment Facilities to the Lemay
Treatment Plant.
Section Two. The three amendments to the contract
authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the Director of Legal
Services of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1980.
