AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Sixty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($66,850.00) from
the Bonfils Operating Fund, of which Six Thousand Six Hundred
Eighty-five Dollars ($6,685.00) is to be used to pay the
District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of Fifty Thousand One
Hundred Thirty-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($50,137.50) has been
received from the Environmental Protection Agency and Ten Thousand
Twenty-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($10,027.50) has been received
from the Clean Water Commission for the cost of completing the
Step 1 Facility Plan for the design and construction of the
necessary sewage interception system and pumping facilities to
serve the "Bonfils" (Bonfils-Missouri Bottoms) area (Engineering
Contract E-232, Federal Project C-290628-01).
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of
completing said Plan, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
received from the Clean Water Commission of the State of Missouri
to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of completing said Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Six Hundred
Eighty-five Dollars ($6,685.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Bonfils Operating Fund to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost of
completing the Step 1 Facility Plan for the design and
construction of the necessary sewage interception system and
facilities to serve the "Bonfils" (Bonfils-Missouri Bottoms) area.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States amounts to Fifty Thousand
One Hundred Thirty-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($50,137.50), which
will be deposited in the Bonfils Operating Fund, and is to pay
seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of completing the Step 1
Facility Plan for the design and construction of the necessary
sewage interception system and pumping facilities to serve the
"Bonfils" (Bonfils-Missouri Bottoms) area, and said amount is
hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and
payable under the terms of the contracts for said Plan.
Section Three. The grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri amounts to Ten Thousand
Twenty-seven and 50/100 Dollars ($10,027.50), which will be
deposited in the Bonfils Operating Fund, and is to pay fifteen
percent (15%) of the cost of completing the Step 1 Facility Plan
for the design and construction of the necessary sewage
interception system and pumping facilities to serve the "Bonfils"
(Bonfils-Missouri Bottoms) area, and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable
under the terms of the contracts for said Plan.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1980.
