AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of a sewer easement in
Lots 5 and 6 of "PROGRESS CENTER", in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested the District to vacate the portion of subject easement,
and this District has no further use for said portion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The portion of the sewer easement
described below is hereby vacated, to wit:
Parcel No. 1: A tract of land being part of Metro
Boulevard, as dedicated in "PROGRESS CENTER", a subdivision filed
for record in Plat Book 180, Pages 2 and 3 of the St. Louis County
Records, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point of the West line of Metro Boulevard, said
point being North 01 degree 40 minutes 44 seconds West, a distance
of 261.20 feet from the Southeast corner of Lot 4 of aforesaid
"PROGRESS CENTER"; thence along a curve to the left, having a
radius of 32.00 feet, an arc distance of 29.35 feet to a point of
reverse curve; thence along a curve to the right, having a radius
of 42.00 feet, an arc distance of 91.28 feet to a point; thence
South 01 degree 40 minutes 44 seconds East, a distance of 98.68
feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.04 acres, more or
less, together with the 17' wide Roadway Maintenance and
Improvement, Sewer and Utility Easement and also the 5' wide
Easement to St. Louis County Water Company, immediately adjacent
to that portion of Metro Boulevard to be vacated, and adjacent to
the terminus of Metro Boulevard.
Parcel No. 2: A tract of land being part of Metro
Boulevard, as dedicated in "PROGRESS CENTER", a subdivision filed
for record in Plat Book 180, Pages 2 and 3 of the St. Louis County
Records, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of Metro Boulevard, said
point being North 01 degree 40 minutes 44 seconds West, a distance
of 281.20 feet from the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of aforesaid
"PROGRESS CENTER"; thence along a curve to the right, having a
radius of 32.00 feet, an arc distance of 29.35 feet to a point of
reverse curve; thence along a curve to. the left, having a radius
of 42.00 feet, an arc distance of 91.28 feet to a point; thence
South 01 degree 40 minutes 44 seconds East, a distance of 98.68
feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.04 acres, more or
less, together with the 17' wide Roadway Maintenance and
Improvement, Sewer and Utility Easement and also the 5' wide
Easement to St. Louis County Water Company, immediately adjacent
to that portion of Metro Boulevard to be vacated, and adjacent to
the terminus of Metro Boulevard.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 24, 1980.
