HomeMy Public PortalAbout04175 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4175 AN ORDINANCE, awarding contracts to the Kemper Insurance Group (C. J. Thomas Company, Agent) for the District's Employee Faithful Performance Blanket Bond for the period ending October 1, 1983 and to Kemper Insurance Group (Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, Agent) for Faithful Performance Bond for the Secretary-Treasurer for such period, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Kemper Insurance Group who submitted the lowest responsive bids for the District's Employee Faithful Performance Blanket Bond at and for a premium of Two Thousand Three Hundred Twelve Dollars ($2,312.00), and for the Faithful Performance Bond for the Secretary-Treasurer at and for a premium of Five Hundred Twenty-three Dollars ($523.00), which bids were received and opened on September 19, 1980 at 11:00 A.M., at the District's offices for such three year policy period ending October 1, 1983, are hereby awarded the contracts for such Fidelity Performance Bonds. Section Two. This ordinance being for the award of contracts for Faithful Performance Bonds for the District's employees in general and for the Secretary-Treasurer and this being necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this ordinance shall be and become effective upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 24, 1980.
