AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the Village of Riverview,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for that portion of storm sewer construction in
the project known as Lilac #9926 (S-1456, C-745), in the Village
of Riverview, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the Village of Riverview, Missouri with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and the Village of Riverview, Missouri, for the
undertaking of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the
Village of Riverview, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America,
for the receipt of federal funds to be used for that portion of
storm sewer construction in the project known as Lilac #9926
(S-1456, C-745), in the Village of Riverview, Missouri, in the
form as attached hereto.

Section Two. The construction contract between the
District and the contractor for the storm sewer construction will
be awarded in accordance with standard District policies.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1980.
