AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Two Million Three Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($2,003,900.00)
from the General Fund of the District of which Two Hundred
Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Dollars ($200,390.00) is to pay the
District's ten percent (10%) share, One Million Five Hundred Two
Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($1,502,925.00) will be
received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Three
Hundred Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($300,585.00)
will be received from the Clean Water Commission for additional
costs of a Step I engineering study for performance of a sewer
system evaluation survey for the Lower Missouri River Basin
(Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Northwest) in Fee Fee and
Creve Coeur Watersheds (Addendum #3 to Engineering Contract
E-287) Federal Project C-291148-01).
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of
the cost of said study, and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of
Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said study,
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3520, adopted May 24, 1978,
Ordinance No. 3752, adopted April Il, 1979, and Ordinance 3912,
adopted November 28, 1979, provided for the initial funding of
said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Three
Hundred Ninety Dollars ($200,390.00) is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund of the District to pay ten percent (10%) of the
additional costs of a Step 1 engineering study for the
performance of a sewer system evaluation survey for the Lower
Missouri River Basin (Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
Northwest) in Fee Fee and Creve Coeur Watersheds (Addendum #3 to
Engineering Contract E-287) Federal Project C-291148-01.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
One Million Five Hundred Two Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five
Dollars ($1,502,925.00) which, when received, will be deposited
in the General Fund of the District,, and is to pay seventy-five
percent (75%) of the additional costs of a Step 1 engineering
study for the performance of a sewer system evaluation survey for
the Lower Missouri River Basin (Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District Northwest) in Fee Fee and Creve Coeur Watersheds
(Addendum #3 to Engineering Contract E-287) Federal Project
C-291148-01), and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used
to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said study.
Section Three. The grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri will amount to Three Hundred
Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($300,585.00) which,
when received, will be deposited in the General Fund of the
District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the additional
costs of a Step 1 engineering study for the performance of a
sewer system evaluation survey for the Lower Missouri River Basin
(Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Northwest) in Fee Fee and
Creve Coeur Watersheds (Addendum #3 to Engineering Contract
E-287) (Federal Project C-291148-01), and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and
payable under the terms of the contracts for said study.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
