HomeMy Public PortalAbout04290 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4290 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to Quit Claim an easement on certain real estate in St. Louis County, Missouri to the State Highway Commission of Missouri, and to execute a Quit Claim Deed. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described easement is now unoccupied and the State Highway Commission of Missouri has requested that The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District transfer ownership of said easement to the State Highway Commission of Missouri by Quit Claim Deed, and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has agreed to do so, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST, LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The District does hereby Remise, Release and forever Quit Claim any right, title or interest in or to the following described real estate, situated in St. Louis County, Missouri described as follows: That portion of an easement granted to the Bonfils Service Corporation as succeeded by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and located within the right-of-way of Route I-270 at State Route 115 Interchange, St. Louis County and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing northwest right-of-way line of Interstate Route 270, said point being opposite S.C. Station 2+39.04 ahead on the hereinafter described centerline of Interstate Route 270; thence northwesterly to a point 285 feet radial distance northwest of said S.C. Station 2+39.04 Ahead; thence northeasterly on the arc of a curve to the right, having a radius of 2831.64 feet for a distance of 512.45 feet to a point 285 feet radial distance northwest of centerline Station 7+00 Ahead; thence southeasterly to a point in the said northwest right-of-way line opposite said centerline Station 7+00 Ahead; thence extending southwesterly along the said northwest right-of-way line to the point of beginning. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the District a deed giving effect to Section One hereof, and embodying such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1981.
