Home My Public Portal About04306 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4306 AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Allendale Insurance Company, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Aetna Insurance Company, Affiliated Factory Mutual Insurance Company (Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., agent) and the Royal Insurance Company (Lawton, Byrne, Bruner Insurance Agency Co., agent) for the District's property and liability insurance coverage from March 1, 1981 to March 1, 1982, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Allendale Insurance Company, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Aetna Insurance Company and Affiliated Factory Mutual Insurance Company, who submitted the lowest bid to the District for all of the District's property and liability (except for the $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit Primary Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Coverage) of those bids received and opened on February 5, 1981, at 11:00 A.M., at the District's office by the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for a gross premium of Eighty-six Thousand Six Hundred Eleven Dollars ($86,611.00) for such policy period, are hereby awarded the contract for such property and liability insurance coverage (except as herein noted) from March 1, 1981 to March 1, 1982. Section Two. The Royal Insurance Company, who submitted the lowest bid to the District for the $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit Primary Comprehensive General Liability coverage at and for a premium of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($3,813.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such insurance coverage from March 1, 1981 to March 1, 1982. Section Two. This Ordinance, being for the award of a contract for the District's property and liability insurance coverage and thus being necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 18, 1981.
