AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($225,750.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Fountain Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain
Creek - Section XV) S-1081, C-791, in the City of Florissant,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the total costs of said project;
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will
be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($225,750.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for the construction
of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of
Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs
incurred in connection with such construction project, in
Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek Section XV) S-1081, C-791, in
the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 1981.
