HomeMy Public PortalAbout04331 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4331 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southland Oil Company of Jackson, Mississippi, whereby said Southland Oil Company will purchase Fifty-one (51) of the District's energy entitlements at a price of Twenty-seven and 06/100 Dollars ($27.06) per entitlement, pursuant to the United States Department of Energy Entitlement Program. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southland Oil Company of Jackson, Mississippi, whereby said Southland Oil Company will purchase Fifty-one (51) of the District's energy entitlements at a price of Twenty-seven and 06/100 Dollars ($27.06) per entitlement, pursuant to the United States Department of Energy Entitlement Program. Section Two. The United States Department of Energy Entitlement Program is currently the subject of litigation, and should said program be held invalid or inoperative, then the District, pursuant to the Court's Order, may be required to refund all or a portion of the funds received through the contract above described in Section One. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 1981.
