A SPECIAL ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO BE KNOWN AS ROYAL OAKS APARTMENT COMPLEX
WHEREAS the Zoning Map designates and describes certain property located at 4289 Royal Oaks Drive as R-4 Multi-Family Housing; and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to a Residential P.U.D. District to provide for the future growth of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of certain property commonly known as 4289 Royal Oaks Drive, and more
particularly described below is hereby changed to a Residential P.U.D. District to allow for future growth. The Concept Plan is hereby approved and the Concept Plan and Draft Development
Plan will be attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A.
The subject property is more particularly described as:
Being a part of Fractional Section 22, Township 16 North, Range 14 East in Center Township, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron rod found on the west line of the Southwest Quarter of said Fractional Section 22, said iron rod being 865.89 feet north of a copperweld found at the southwest corner
of
said southwest Quarter, and running thence from said beginning point continuing north, along said west line (assuming said west line runs north and south), 145.47 feet to an iron rod
set; thence north 88 degrees, 53 minutes and 50 seconds east, 823.75 feet to an iron rod set; thence south 01 degree, 32 minutes and 50 seconds east, 29.99 feet to an iron rod found
set in concrete; thence north 88 degrees, 51 minutes and 25 seconds east, 147.66 feet to an iron pipe found; thence south 01 degree, 48 minutes and 00 seconds east, 543.54 feet to an
iron rod set; thence south 42 minutes and 55 seconds west, 695.79 feet to an iron rod set; thence north 00 degrees, 03 minutes and 00 seconds west, 413.89 feet to an iron rod set; thence
south 89 degrees, 42 minutes and 55 seconds west, 292.98 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area of 9.856 acres
