RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE BOROUGH HALL BOILER ROOM
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough")
has determined that certain improvements to the Borough Hall Boiler Room are
necessary; and
WHEREAS, Bailey Refrigeration Co., Inc. ("Bailey") installed the Borough's
boiler and is ready and available to perform the work to the fresh air intake
system for the boiler room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that a contract is hereby awarded to Bailey Refrigeration
Co., Inc. to perform certain work to the Borough Hall Boiler Room in accordance
with the scope of work, attached as Schedule A, in an amount not to exceed
$5,425.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made without competitive
bidding in that the amount of the work provided is less than the bid threshold set
forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:l 1-5 (1) (a).
Adopted this 17th day of February, 2000
and certified as a tree copy of the original
on February 18, 2000.
