AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of Two Hundred Seven
Thousand Dollars ($207,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for the purchase of
certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, for right-of-
way purposes to straighten Gravois Creek, and provide flood and
erosion control.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the purchase price of said property; upon
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Im-
provement Fund of Gravois Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seven Thousand
Dollars($207,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for
the purchase of certain real property in St. Louis County,
Missouri, for right-of-way purposes to straighten Gravois Creek,
and provide flood and erosion control.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1981.
