AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 553
(Bellefontaine & Talisman) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of
the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 553 (Bellefontaine & Talisman).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 553
(Bellefontaine & Talisman) shall be as follows:
BELLEFONTAINE & TALISMAN
A tract of land in St. Louis County, Missouri, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the original centerlines of
Bellefontaine Road, 60 feet wide, and Redman Avenue, 40 feet wide;
thence westwardly along said centerline of Redman Avenue to its
intersection with the southward prolongation of the western line
of Lot 6 of "AMANDA HEIGHTS", a subdivision recorded in Plat Book
12, Page 142 of the St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence
northwardly along said southward prolongation and along said
western line of Lot 6 to the northwestern corner thereof, said
point being the southwestern corner of Lot 5 of said "AMANDA
HEIGHTS", said point also being the southwestern corner of
property conveyed to Gerald W. Mikesell and Ann Mae Mikesell, his
wife, by deed recorded in Book 4660, Page 155 of the St. Louis
County Recorder's office; thence northwardly, eastwardly and
northwardly along the generally western line of said Mikesell
property to the northwestern corner thereof, said point being the
southwestern corner of property conveyed to Robert P. Starr and
Ruth M. Starr, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 6332, Page 2373
of the St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northwardly
along the western line of said Starr property to the northwestern
corner thereof, said point being in the southern line of Lot 4 of
said "AMANDA HEIGHTS"; thence westwardly along said southern line
of Lot 4, a distance of 2.00 feet to the southwestern corner
thereof; thence northwardly along the western line of Lots 4, 3
and 2 of said "AMANDA HEIGHTS" to the northwestern corner of said
Lot 2, said point being in the southern line of Lot 1 of said
"AMANDA HEIGHTS"; thence southwestwardly along said southern line
of Lot 1 to the easternmost corner of property conveyed to
Buchholz Mortuary, Inc. by deed recorded in Book 5160, Page 29 of
the St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northwestwardly
along the northern line of said Buchholz Mortuary property, a
distance of 100.95 feet to the southwestern corner of property
conveyed to John M. Selzer and Velma J. Selzer, his wife, by deed
recorded in Book 6350, Page 1879 of the St. Louis County
Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly along the northwestern
line of said Selzer property to the northwestern corner of said
Selzer property, said point being in the southern line of Talisman
Lane, 50 feet wide; thence southeastwardly along said southern
line of Talisman Lane to its intersection with the southwestward
prolongation of the southeastern line of property conveyed to
Phillip John Weber and Virginia Dorothy Weber, his wife, by deed
recorded in Book 6385, Page 1450 of the St. Louis County
Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly along said southwestward
prolongation and along said southeastern line, to the northeastern
corner of said Weber property, said point being in the
northeastern line of Lot 1 of said "AMANDA HEIGHTS"; thence
southeastwardly along the northeastern line of said Lot 1 and
along its southeastward
prolongation to its intersection with the centerline of
Bellefontaine Road, 60 feet wide; thence southwestwardly along
said centerline of Bellefontaine Road to the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 24, 1981.
